Week 13 will end any food tracking.....not really necessary as the important stuff was all about eating that 20 grams of fat with the Incivek. It's been interesting to see the progress and to learn what snacks are good and which didn't work. Any and all info will now be listed only in the regular blog postings.

2:30p = ice cream
6p = ~1 c Kraft mac and cheese; ~1/2 c green salad
10:30p = 3/4 c cereal in 1/2 c half-and-half (this seems to be the magic combo)

Friday, July 29, 2011:
6:30a = 3/4 c cereal + 3/4 c half-and-half
2:30p = 2 sm bags Cheez Its
8p = grilled chicken, shrimp, pasta salad, Caesar salad (cruise) plus 2 Diet Cokes (no alcohol)
11p = ~3/4 c half-and-half (on way home in car--brought cereal with it but neglected to bring a spoon, so he drank it and took pill with it in the car)

Thursday, July 28, 2011:
7a = ~ 1 c cereal; 3/4 c half-and-half.
12:30p = half a steak and cheese sub and a Barq’s Root Beer (Pap Gino’s)
2:30p = vanilla caramel choc covered ice cream on a stick (40 g fat)
7p = cut up fresh fruit (was feeling a bit of nausea and fruit fixed it!)
10:30p = banana with 2/3 c half-and-half

Wednesday, July 27, 2011:

11pm = vanilla caramel choc covered ice cream on a stick (40 g fat)

Tuesday, July 26, 2011DAY ONE OF NEW TREATMENT!
For his meds, he had cereal with a little more than 1/2 c of half-and-half (1/2 c = 16 g fat) at 7am. For 3pm snack, he had an ice cream with exactly 20 g fat. We had a nice dinner: steak, baked potato, and peas. About 10pm he had a handful of Fig Newtons (not quite 20 g), so took his last pills with 1/2 c half-and-half. Injection went well at 11pm.
